OUTREACH

We have a family service at 11am on Sunday mornings.  This service is a blended worship, taking the best from different traditions and blending them.  We also offer other styles of service at different times of year – keep an eye on our calendar. If you would like to take part in worship (either from home or in the building!) please contact Rev. Catherine.

Prayer under-girds our church.  We have a prayer team who are intentional about praying for the life of the church but also for the community.  If you have a prayer request or would like to be on this team please email prayer@mccgainesville.org

At different times in our lives we need care, whether that is spiritual care, assistance with shopping, appointments etc.  Our Care Team tries to support the community with volunteers (background checked).  If you would like to volunteer or join the team please email care@mccgainesville.org

Social Justice is one of our Core Values and we take it very seriously.  As a community we are always making sure that if there is a cause that needs our support that we help wherever we can.  These can include but are not limited to: Xenophobia, Racism, Classism, Sexism, Homophobia and Transphobia. Whether we are called to be the voice for the voiceless or address an ‘ism,’ we will be with our community.

There is nothing more successful than working on projects with other groups, which is why we enjoy working in partnership with other groups.   We are currently involved in the Alachua County Faith Leaders Alliance, Campus Multifaith Cooperative, Pride Center, Pride Youth Leadership Academy, to name but a few.  If you know of a project that we should be involved with, please let us know on info@mccgainesville.org
