At Trinity MCC we want to be alongside you and your family through this difficult journey of loss. We extend our sympathy in your loss and we are here to support you in the days and weeks to come after the service.

Metropolitan Community Churches have been offering memorials/funerals for all people since 1968 and Trinity MCC in Gainesville is no exception. We do not have a standard service because we believe that a service should be built and written just for the individual. We understand for some people a formal funeral is more appropriate, and yet for others a Celebration of Life would reflect the life of the person being honored. Our Pastor is committed to making the service one that reflects your loved one and in the most convenient location

for you.

If you decide to have your loved ones memorial/funeral at Trinity MCC, or performed by our pastor, you will need to call the office and make an appointment to meet with Rev Catherine to make arrangements. (352) 317-5143 - (Cell).

You are welcome to lay the ashes of your loved ones to rest in the grounds of Trinity MCC on our Memorial Path. Please ask for further details.

After your initial meeting with Rev Catherine, the Celebration of Life forms will be provided for you and your family to fill out and return to the church office within 2 weeks, or 5 days before the service should that be within 2 weeks of the meeting.

Officiant

Pastor to perform and organize service.

Nonmember: $250

Active member: Voluntary Honorarium
