Thanks to the hard work and generosity of everyone we have 50 Blessing/Manna bags ready to distribute.  Each bag includes water, Vienna sausage, applesauce, granola bar, pudding, plastic utensil packet, razor, shave cream, soap, wash cloth, shampoo, Emory board, comb, facial tissue, band aids, a pair of socks, tooth brush, tooth paste, floss, two (2) resealable plastic bags and a hand-written note.  There were also some items provided that, while there wasn’t enough for each bag, were dispersed randomly and much appreciated.  Nickie, thank you for allowing us to help your dream become a reality.

In addition, our sweet David had a wonderful idea and made 5 little treat bags for the Fur Babies.  I would also like to give extra kudos to him because he doesn’t have a sewing machine so all of the bags he makes are completely sewn by hand.  All our fellow seamstresses out there know what I’m talking’ about. I don’t have a machine and made one (1) by hand promptly saying Nope, Nope! and hi-jacked a sewing machine (Thank you Barb.) His contribution was/is a true labor of love!

Finally, I would like to extend a special thank you to those that helped with the hand written notes.  They added a personal touch that might prove to be the most meaningful part of this ministry.
